The Story
At the end of the Second World War, the «Fratelli Ghidini» founded the Stilopress, immediately concentrating on the production of cutlery, articles and housewares.
In the 1970s Stilopress bought the first DIE-CASTING machine and started the production of its own items: door handles in zamak and also started working on behalf of third parties, creating various custom-designed items for customers of several sectors, including Rapetti Srl (the company that invented the single-lever mixer cartridge)
In the 80s, Ghidini Roberto designs levers with a line that can blend in with most faucets. One of his creations is still today, the most copied, produced and sold lever in the world. In the 90s Stilopress decided to abandon the no longer profitable handles and to concentrate on the TAPS MARKET, characterized by very high quality. In 2005 the company decided to export its skills to China, Guangdong, with the precise strategy of adapting the industrial activities of the group to the new world scenarios. Today the company is in its third generation, and in recent years it has become an international industrial group which, thanks to its network in Italy and South-East Asia, is one of the main world references in the production of articles and components in die-cast ZAMAK alloy.< /span>

KAIPING IBL SANITARY WARE CO. LTD: the Chinese productive strength combines back-ground and Italian industrial history. The Stilopress group has been PRESENT IN CHINA SINCE 2005 in the new MANUFACTURING PLANT IN KAIPING in the GUANGDONG region. IBL Ltd integrates all production processes internally; from the creation of the molds to the galvanic treatments. The production capacity allows us to process over 200 tons of ZAMA per month with an annual consumption of about 2,500 tons.
